Chef Cesar Mayorga brings decades of culinary experience from across Europe and Latin America to his menus. His path has taken him through kitchens in Spain, Belgium, Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, and the United States—each one shaping his approach to bold, ingredient-driven cooking. He trained in some of the world’s most demanding kitchens, including the Michelin-starred Comme Chez Soi in Brussels and Martín Berasategui in San Sebastián. Before joining Barcelona, Cesar taught Latin American Gastronomy and Spanish Culture at the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Sevilla—an experience that deepened his passion for mentorship and the culture of the kitchen.
As Senior Executive Chef at Barcelona in Reston, Cesar’s menu reflects a career defined by bold flavors, precise technique, and global influence.
