Chef James Bizak started his career in the kitchen when he was 15-years-old. Once he got his hands on a knife, it was game over. Chef James worked his way up to line cook at age 16 and dropped everything in his life to become a chef. Working his way through Culinary school, and in kitchens with Disney and Marriott, to Renaissance Patriot’s Place in Massachusetts, he eventually moved back to his home state— working from line cook to Chef de Cuisine at an award-winning farm to table restaurant in CT. When he found himself looking for the next step, he came to Barcelona and never looked back. Chef James Bizak brings incredible passion and first-hand experience from Spain to the menu in Fairfield, utilizing a wide array of ingredients including the fresh vegetables grown just outside the doorstep.
